The Multi-Talented Artist Know As DJ EMURDA Was The Only DJ Comming From Jamaica That Could Cut Records With Finess As This Was An Unheard Of Style On The Island, Back Then It Was All About Blends And Having The Biggest Set Of Speakers. The Way He Got Into The Cutting Style of DJing Was From Watching The Movie "Juice" In Early 1994 While Visiting Family In Florida. When The DJ Battle Section Was Seen, It Became Clear And He Said: "I Need To Do That" Ever Since Then He Started Cuttin With Finess On Equipment That Was Handed Down From His Mother Who DJ'd Parties Between NY/NJ Between The 80's.

Between 1994 And 1996 He Was Perfecting His Skills Back In Jamaica And Traveling Back And Forth From The Island To Florida. In 1997 He Decided To Stay In The States Permanently Going To Houston,TX Durring That First Summer And Traveling Back To Florida Frequently To See Family And To Finish High School.

After A Short Time In Houston He Was Introduced To A DJ SCREW Grey Tape And Was Jamming Screw Ever Since That Day, But He Never Though Of Really Doing It Himself Until He Got A Hold Of An After Da Kappa Mix CD Around 1999 And 2000 Where He Heard Of OG Ron C. After Hearing This CD He Decided To Drop The Pitch And Mix This Way From Now On Untill About About 2001 He Left Texas For A While To Stay With Family In Florida Where He Started Getting Serious About It From Selling Multiple Tapes At Flea Markets, And A Local Mall In The Hood On 34th Street South Called Simply "Miami Fashions"

Around 2002 He Started Selling Mix "CD's" Instead Of Tapes And Started Converting The Old Tapes To CD's And Placing Them Online. Around This Time He Decided To Drop Chopped & Screwed Volume 1 Due To Most Of The Locals In Florida Not Reconizing The Real Shit. They Jammed Slow Tapes But Not Slow And "Chopped Up"

Mid 2003 He Went Back To Houston And Dissappeared From Florida Where By This Time He Sold Over 200,000 Mixtapes Between 2002 And 2004. So He Decided To Drop Chopped & Screwed Volumes 2, And 3, Volume 2 Was Least Popular Due To No Promotion And Volume 3 Was Doing Well. At The Same Time Chopped & Screwed Music Was Getting Real Big When He Heard About Watts Doing It Big With David Banner In Early 2004.

Durring Most Of 2004 he Decided To Not Do Mixtapes Anymore And Focus On Gettin Some Album Work For Better Promotion. This Never Really Went Too Well Because Watts Was Gettin Basically All The Albums Over The Next 2 Years. Early 2005 He Decided To Drop Chopped & Screwed Volume 4 Which Was Never Promoted But Still Exists In A Hood Near You. At The Same Time The Cham & Mike Jones Situation Was Gettin Worse And Everyone And They Momma Was Doing Mixtapes On The Subject Playing Tracks Back And Forth. With That In Mind He Reached Out To Chamillionaire And Hooked Up To Do Volume 5 Which Started Off Slow Cause Mixtapes Were Flodded With Koopa But Things Picked Up...
